Smok has improved on its popular Micro One Kit with the introduction of the Smok Micro One 150 Kit. Comprised of the Smok R150 mod and Minos Sub Tank, the kit does not need a separate 18650 battery or charger. That’s because the Smok R150 mod has a built-in 1900 mAh battery to last you all day long. What makes the Smok Micro One 150 Kit stand out however is how compact the R150 mod is, despite its max power output of 150 watts. The result is an affordable, cost-effective kit that you literally can just plug in, charge, fill juice and get to vaping!smok-micro-one-150-kit-vivid-smoke-02

The Smok R150 mod measures 77 mm by 50 mm by 26.5 mm and weighs just 184 grams. Compared to the original R80, the R150 is 8 mm shorter and 5 mm skinnier. The power range is 6 to 150 watts while the voltage range is 0.35 to 8.00 volts. The exterior of the Smok R150 mod has a rubberized finish so it’s extremely comfortable in the palm of your hand. It also adds a shiny look and soft feel and according to Smok, is more durable than the previous oxidized finish on the original Smok Micro One Kit.

Like many modern day mods, the Smok R150 also has temperature control function and can fully support Stainless Steel, Nickel Ni200, Titanium and offers an adjustable Temperature Coefficient of Resistance (TCR) to meet the preferences of every vaper. In temperature control mode, it is capable of firing atomizers as low as 0.06 ohm and as high as 3.0 ohms.

On the top of the stylish device is a spring-loaded center pin and an easy-to-read OLED display that presents all the data you need: output wattage, output voltage, atomizer resistance and remaining battery life. All the buttons are nice and smooth and provide great feedback with each click, and on the opposite side of the fire button is a Micro-USB port that can be used for charging as well as upgrading the firmware.

Paired with the Smok R150 mod is the Minos Sub Tank that comes pre-installed with a 0.3-ohm Q2 core. The package also includes the Minos M2 deck if you prefer to build your own coils. The Minos Sub Tank measures 25 mm by 48 mm and weighs just 52 grams. It has a 4 ml capacity while boasting an airflow system with two adjustable air slots evenly spaced on the bottom. At the top of the tank is a 510 RDA drip tip with a V-shape airflow channel, creating a totally different vaping experience than what you might be used to. And like all other Smok tanks available today, it has top-fill so you can easily fill the tank with your favorite juice.

Each Smok Micro One 150 Kit comes complete with one R150 mod, one Minos Sub Tank with a pre-installed 0.3-ohm Q2 core, a Minos M2 deck, a replacement glass tube, a USB charging and upgrading cable, a user manual and a bag of spare parts.
